ABOUT

ABOUT

I am a freelance editor and writer and have been interested in words from an early age, taking particular delight in receiving my first electronic dictionary (in that time long ago before smart phones). I have a shelf full of books on style, including two books on sentence diagramming, which I’ve been known to do for fun. To improve my editing skills, I am currently enrolled in the Copy Editing certificate program at UC San Diego.

After taking a little detour into the world of numbers to become a CPA, I earned a Masters in Creative Writing from Johns Hopkins University. I am also a graduate of Grub Street’s Novel Incubator program and am an editor and contributor at Dead Darlings. My fiction can be heard at The Drum, A Literary Magazine for Your Ears. When not working with words, I am usually hanging out with my two whippets, Zoe and Zephyr.
